I'm not your hero; but I aim to be my own hero. To be that perfect being that I see in my dreams.
I thought to myself, how many people are like this; like me. And I realized... not enough. If we each strive to be a hero, the hero that we seek, we can be something that we weren't willing to believe in.
Every person, can be a hero, an ally of justice. Justice is not black or white. The lack of clear division lets our beliefs guide our decisions. This nature is the very reason why humanity can reach perfection without actually being perfect. If you think simply, then perfection is also neither black or white. Somewhere between the two extremes is perfection, and currently, we're close to it. With small adjustments we can make it. That's what I believe.
To make it there however, we simply need to match our goals and work for what we each picture. Simply put, we each must become the hero we see in our dreams. We must become that, because if we dream it, we can be it. As long as we seek that goal, we can never go wrong. While we all are human, we will each strive for our own gain, or strive for the well-being of others. Either way, we seek our own happiness and satisfaction and hope to give our loved ones happiness and satisfaction in turn.
Then, our path should be obvious. We can obtain our own happiness and satisfaction by becoming the hero that exists in our dreams and save ourselves from the despair and lackluster world we see. Then, we can all strive to build a world where everyone can find that same happiness and satisfaction. When we aim for that world, we will simply have the perfect world.
It's so easy, but working for something so vague is so difficult. Yet, if you're working for your own happiness and for the happiness of the world, you truly are a hero. So I tell you. Go be a hero. Don't be anyone else's hero, go be your own hero!
