Flying Free: Uncaged Wings

They say the sky is the limit.
So.. I ask of you.
"If you were to fly, why would you fly?"

I ask because I know that I would fly for the world of infinity that lies in that blue sky.
If the sky is the limit, where is the limit of the sky?

So I then ask you.
"How high would you fly?"

I ask knowing that I would fly toward the very limits of the sky, to find the very pinnacle of it.

So...

"Higher! Higher!" I said to myself.
I made my decision as I flew up toward the clouds.
Trees and birds passed by as I ascended.
The wind blew against me as I travel led farther than ever before.
I saw the clouds, I pushed my wings to the limit.
Faltering under the pressure, I flipped around, on a dive toward the ground.
My speed increased rapidly as I desperately tried to spread my wings and glide down.
The resistance was too strong as I plummeted to my doom.
A sudden current blew me to the side, opening my wings.
Rotating toward the breeze, I rested as I glided along.
Regaining energy, I prepared myself once more.
Two words stuck themselves into my mind again.
"Higher! Higher!" I yelled at the open sky.
I flew up higher, aiming for the infinite possibility that exists above.
To be at the top, the very best of the best.
Using my wings, I fly up once more.

Finally, I ask of you.
"Where would you fly to anyway?"

And for this, I have no answer.
