Leaves - The Tree From Which We Fall

"Life is like a dance… a dance in the wind… we are leaves dancing in the wind" - Y.W.

They say an apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Yet, I often ask myself. Are children really apples of trees... or can we end up farther away. These metaphorical questions always shake me and make me wonder, but I've begun to believe that we are closer to leaves than we are to apples. We make our own choices as we are thrown around by the wind of life, and if we choose to enjoy the things life throws at us, we will be dancing in that wind. In life, it is those who take steps in new directions and those who are willing to take new risks who make changes happen. It is not those who are happy with the place they are currently in.

"Life is what happens when we are making plans for the future. "

Plans are plans because most of the time they are not put into action. As people we make multiple plans for every situation, and plenty of them don't even see a second thought. The reason behind this is not really the faults that lie in plans but the very nature that situation creates. All plans are created because they had merit at the moment, but because the way life occurs, we don't really have time to decide whether they are suitable and we go by spur of the moment. The way that life works, sometimes we might have to rethink what it means to do what we do.
