Snowflake, snowflake, snowflake.
Pixels of white, shooting down from the sky, decorating the black sky with streaks of white. The blowing wind shakes the individual flakes, twirling them aside like a snowy hurricane.
I was watching the sky, sitting on the front steps of my house. A weather storm of perfection flurrying. And that was where I first saw you, flickering behind the snow, stunning the scene as the prettiest snowflake.
Time paused for me, snow blowing past my frozen face. I felt my heart flutter, my words hidden behind the scenery. Then time started again as you looked away, your smile leaving an imprint in my mind.
And just as quickly as you had appeared, you were gone in another flurry of snow. The wind blew past my face, rolling cold waves of air and snow into me. I flinched slightly, and I opened my eyes. The street lights illuminate the clear sky and ground. The snow stopped falling but the traces remain on the ground, as a thin layer of white.
I smile as I look to where you stood, content at the proof of your existence that lie in the two imprints you left behind.
