Simple or Actually Unbelievably Complex

Sometimes I wonder if people truly understand the depths of understanding that exists in human communication. We act as if we understand what the other is truly thinking and through our actions we try to predict their reasoning and their emotions. Yet when everything is all set and done there's only so many different choices that we could have taken.

There is never a perfect answer. If there were perfect answers, life would be a simple task. I believe every part of life to be a balancing act, where we go back and forth from side to side in order to achieve optimal results. People are far more complicated than we are willing to admit, but one day, I hope to have the experience and empathy to appreciate the unique nature of interpersonal communication.
